Math Monday: Today’s prize is a Pringles Amplified Speaker
Posted by MomOnMars on August 08, 2011
Welcome to Twyla’s Corner, where each Monday, I’ll post a question from the Blue Filing Box of math problems. First person to post the right answer wins the prize!
Yep…I bet you want to know what in the world a Pringles Amplified Speaker is, don’t you? This very awesome speaker device is designed to fit onto the top of any can of Pringles, and uses the empty can to amplify sound when attached to a personal MP3 player or similar music device. I’ll even send it to you with an (unopened!) can of Pringles. I saw it demonstrated at Blogher ’11 last week…and yes…it really works. Really well, actually. A big virtual thank you to P&G for providing this great giveaway.
I’m thirsty
A supermarket bought 275 gallons of milk. Of this amount 168 gallons were sold in gallon jugs; 98 quarts in quart jars. If the remainder is put in pint jars; how many jars will be needed?
