Tickets still available for Holiday in Blue
Posted by MomOnMars on December 13, 2011
Cymbals clashing, horns blowing, and crowds cheering is what’s in store this year for the USAF Band of the West’s annual Holiday in Blue concert. Picture a 50-piece chorus of military members and their families singing holiday classics. It’s sure to ring in the season’s spirit.
Performances include a special holiday story written by a local Trinity University student, set to music and illustrated by 3rd graders at Lackland, Randolph, and Fort Sam Houston ISDs. It’s a true San Antonio tradition that continues to draw crowds with its unique, hometown vibe.
Concerts will be held December 17 and 18 at the Edgewood ISD Theatre of Performing Arts at 3 p.m. both days.
Performances are free, but you do need tickets to get in the door. Pick them up at the Fiesta San Antonio Commission, Lackland and Randolph AFB ITT Offices, or the Fort Sam Houston MWR Office.
If you have a group tickets of 10 or more, call (210) 671-3934 to speak with a marketing representative for more details, or email band.media@us.af.mil
