Spring Break Camps – Arts

The Basics:
Where: Stone Oak Youth Theater & Dance Company – 21518 Blanco Rd, Ste 101
Who: Ages 8-16
How Much: $325
When: March 12-16 (M-F)
Is your child bursting with theatrics? Why not channel their passion to create their very own production? The Stone Oak Youth Theater and Dance Company hosts a week long camp, running from 9am to 4pm, where students will direct and perform in self-written scenes to get a taste of what goes into make a production happen! Family and friends are invited to come to the showcase on Friday at 4pm to see what your student has created. Register online today.

Who: Ages 4-12
How Much: $40/day or $25 for half day
When: March 12-16 (M-F)
Each day, your child can experiment with something new. On Monday, they will be painters. On Tuesday, it’s wearable art. On Wednesday, your little artist will explore abstract art and surrealism and on Thursday, landscapes. then, on Friday, it’s time to day dream and doodle. Register online.
The Basics:
Where: Clay Casa, 502 Embassy Oaks #107
Who: Ages 7 and up
How Much: $30/day or any 3 classes for $80
When: March 13-15
You’d think it’s just clay, but it’s not! On Monday, it’s painting a silly village on canvas. On Tuesday, learn how to bubble paint by painting a fish on a plate. On Wednesday, paint a mug and a flower pot. It’s Seussical fun from 10 a.m. to noon each day. Add in a little extra silliness on Wednesday afternoon with playtime from 3 to 4:30 when you can make a clay hat for $20. For more information, call 402-6656.
Spring Break Recycled Art Fun at Art by Heart Studio
The Basics:
Where: Art by Heart Studio, 28120 N Hwy 281 Suite 101 A
Who: Ages 4 and up
How Much: $10/hour, $30/half day, $50/day and $200/week
When: March 12-16, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Got a heart for green? Art by Heart Studio’s spring break fun will focus on recycled art. It’s not only fun for all ages, it’s also learning how to help our environment transforming trash in treasures through collage, mosaic, glass fusing, painting, modeling and other art techniques! Who: Ages 6-13
How Much: $135 a week/ or $50 per day
When: March 13-15, 9am – 12pm or 1pm-4pm
Take your art to the kitchen! Young Chefs Academy is going cupcake crazy at their Spring Break Camp Can-I-Cook! Your kids will have a chance to do everything: baking from scratch, making buttercreams, decorating, and more! Make sweet and savory cupcakes and master your skills of stirring, icing, filling, frosting, and piping. The kitchen’s starting to heat up this break!
