Do your kids clean house?
Posted by MomOnMars on August 27, 2012There was a time when you walked into my house that you wouldn’t have necessarily known we had kids. We keep a fairly minimalist view on collecting tschotskes. And order reigned supreme. Then, the kids started making bigger and bigger messes, and it became increasingly more difficult to keep a handle on keeping the house clean. Anybody else have this problem?
In an attempt to correct the situation, we started teaching the kids how to pick up after themselves…moving eventually into actual cleaning. Now that they are teens, I’m happy to say we have taught them how to vacuum, dust, do laundry…and, yes, even clean the toilet. Getting them to actually do it is another story.
So, Dr. Jana and I talked…talked about how to motivate your kids to clean. She had some great tips.
Here are some more of Dr. Jana’s tips from LYSOL®: Cleaning Tips from Dr. Laura Jana
