It’s the final stretch of summer vacation, and there’s still time to take one last summer trip. But then, what to do with Fido? We’ve scoped out some options for your dog so you can go ahead and plan that last fling before school starts.
With two locations, one on the northside and one downtown, Lucy’s is the ultimate dog-cation. Offering Dog Day and Overnight Camp, your dog keep busy with fun dog camp activities. Each dog gets its own cabin, though siblings are allowed to share to make it more like home. They can relax to soothing music at bedtime along with enjoying tasty “campfire” treats. Camp showers are also available for those pups that need to clean up before heading home. The standard overnight rate is $35 and packages are available for longer stays.

Planning a trip to SeaWorld but don’t want to leave your pet behind? Sea World has outdoor kennels available to you free of charge. The kennels are off the main guest parking lot and are open to your family to use. Bring your own toys and food for the dog. They’ll provide bowls and water. It’s not an overnight kennel, but it is an alternative to leaving your favorite friend at home or in a hotel all day by himself.
