Movie Review: Finding Nemo 3D

It’s all the fish and all the fun but for a new generation of viewers. Disney & Pixar’s Finding Nemo in 3D hits theaters Friday, September 14th and it is guaranteed to make a splash with your whole family.
Whether you are a Finding Nemo fanatic or a first-time watcher, the re-release of the Pixar classic will pull at your heartstrings and take your breath away as you are transported through the sea (in 3D) with Marlin on his quest to be reunited with his son, Nemo.
After the tragic disruption of his family, Marlin makes a promise to Nemo to never let anything happen to him, a difficult task for a father fish in the deep sea where predators could be around any corner. When Nemo is whisked away by a scuba diver, Marlin must break out of his proverbial shell and take on the ocean in search of his son. Along the way he meets sharks, sea turtles, and some dangerous sea creatures that cause quite a stir, making the journey to find Nemo a thrilling ride. Be prepared to ‘oo’ and ‘aw’ at the scenery and the fish, and hold your breath as our heroes face some scary obstacles, like taking on sharks and little girls with pig tails.
But the best parts of Finding Nemo 3D are the lessons that both kids and parents can take away, not to mention the beauty of the underwater world in 3D.
The whole family can appreciate the timeless lessons of Finding Nemo. Marlin, the over-protective parent, learns to let go and trust others after being fiercely afraid of the sea. While Nemo, with a ‘lucky fin’ that creates some challenges for him, learns he can take care of himself, and use his own strength to do what he feels is right.

And don’t forget your flippers because it feels like you’re exploring the sea in this 3D adventure. The sea anemones shine and the shark teeth sparkle as you dart around with Dory and Marlin, dodging through the darkness and catching the current with turtles.
There is fun, excitement, beauty, and suspense throughout the tale of Finding Nemo. It’s an experience your family will love to share, especially in 3D, whether it’s your first time to see it or your thousandth.
You can find some fun games and activities online to get revved up for the film, or keep the fun going after you see it. Learn about the characters, watch videos, even find some DIY crafts to do at home. Your family can have fun with Finding Nemo in countless ways.
And you can make the experience extra special, because with the new 3D release, some theaters are offering Nemo-themed RealD 3D glasses free with purchase of your ticket.
