Thanks for stopping by and for taking an interest in SA Busy Kids, a hyperlocal blog about activities and camps for kids and families throughout the San Antonio area. Our target market includes parents, teachers, aunts, uncles, grandparents and caregivers.
We are proud to say we’ve been named a top mommy blog in San Antonio by both News4 WOAI and San Antonio Magazine (link requires log-in/free registration). In addition, we have dovetail blogs on KENS5.com (San Antonio CBS affiliate) and the San Antonio Express-News MYSA.com. In 2011, our founder, Debi Pfitzenmaier, was named one of the top peeps in Texas by the Austin American Statesman at the Texas Social Media Awards.
If only all that helped pay the bills. Sadly, not.

About Reviews: Got something cool you’d like us to review? If you’d like to send us a sample of your product to test, play with, see if we can break it, run by our kids, whatever, we’re happy to do that. If we like it, it’s a good fit for our audience and we think it’s something they’ll benefit from, we’ll write about.
However, sending an item for review does not necessarily guarantee that we will write about it. We live by the old adage: if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all. Also, typically, we do not return items sent in for review.
Also, if we like it, we’d probably really like one to share as a giveaway with our readers (hint, hint). But, please don’t send the giveaway directly to Debi. We will contact you with the winner’s information and you will be responsible for sending the winner the prize. Typically, prizes valued under $50 will be given away for Monday Math prize winners only.

For out-of-town events, however, please note that in addition to the commonly-covered travel expenses, Debi will usually require that home-city travel expenses (to and from airport) be covered. While our writers are happy to be “paid” in editorial content and unique experiences on these trips, we are typically not able to incur any significant out-of-pocket expenses in order to attend.
