Got a mini-Hemingway who needs a little cultivation? Writing and literary camps can be challenging to find, but we unearthed at least three!
San Antonio Writing Project: held at the downtown UTSA campus for students entering 4th through 8th grade
Young Playwrights Lab: 10-days with local arts educators writing, directing, and acting to culminate in an original short play by each student. Described as “intensive” so know that going in. For ages 11-16.
Camp Guadalupe: held at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, this camp offers experiences in creative writing, dance, media arts, music,theater arts, and visual arts.
